Building Products Is a Form of Expression
Creating content and building products can be different forms of the same expression. A thought about using products to have a conversation with the world.
We used to say that HR and sales are a people business.
Now I think building AI products is a people business too.
And so is creating content.
It suddenly feels as though the times are moving us into something new, haha.
Content creators and product builders used to be two separate groups, each doing their own thing.
With AI, those two groups can become one.
Writers can code, coders can write.
Because at their core, both are forms of self-expression. The form is simply different.
I spent some time thinking deeply about this recently and settled on an idea: building products is a form of expression.
A product is an expression, no different from creating content, making music, painting, making films, or designing buildings.
In the AI era, everyone can use products to have a conversation with the world.
P.S. I thought I might just be getting carried away with my own idea. Then, this morning, I unexpectedly came across something that resonated with it and gave me a little confirmation. That made me so happy, hahaha~
Next, I'll put this idea to the test, one step at a time.
